Taiwan Yamato Obtains ISO 22716:2007 “Cosmetics GMP” Certification at Its Zhongli Logistics Center
Taiwan Yamato International Logistics Inc. (“Taiwan Yamato”) has obtained ISO 22716:2007 Cosmetics Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)—the international standard for cosmetics manufacturing and quality management—at its Zhongli Logistics Center in northern Taiwan, as certified by the Taiwan Food and Drug Administration (TFDA). This marks the first acquisition of this certification within the Yamato Group. With this certification, Taiwan Yamato is now able to perform Chinese labeling for imported cosmetics in compliance with Taiwanese regulatory requirements.
Through this initiative, the Yamato Group will provide one-stop logistics services—ranging from exporting cosmetics to Taiwan, warehousing, distribution processing, and delivery—under an appropriate quality management system, supporting corporate clients engaged in cosmetics sales as they work to expand their business in Taiwan.
■Background and Importance of Obtaining “Cosmetics GMP”
Through this initiative, the Yamato Group will provide comprehensive, one-stop logistics services—including export of cosmetics to Taiwan, product storage, shipping, and delivery—under an appropriate quality control system, supporting corporate clients engaged in cosmetics sales in Taiwan as they expand their business.

- Our logistics center is directly connected to the logistics terminal of President Transnet Corp which provides “TA-Q-BIN” services in Taiwan.
This eliminates transportation and cargo transfer between the warehouse and delivery hub, contributing to extended order cut-off times for increased sales opportunities, enhanced transport quality, and reduced greenhouse gas emissions. - With a semi-automated warehouse, warehouse management system (WMS), and a 365-day shipping operation, the center enables efficient storage and shipment management by production lot, as well as fast, just-in-time shipping.
- The facility is fully air-conditioned to ensure strict temperature control for products.
